hello! i’m aly, short for alyssa (please don’t call me by my full name—it’s one of those things that just makes me cringe, haha). welcome to chaoticalx, a little corner of the internet where i get to unleash my creative chaos and goofiness.

i’m currently a third-year it student with a love-hate relationship with frontend coding. i’m fascinated by the design process and the endless ways to make things visually appealing, but backend coding? yeah, that’s a different story (we’re definitely not friends, lmfao). right now, i’m diving into react, vite, and node.js, and honestly, it’s been a wild, hellish rollercoaster of learning. so, i decided to take a break from the usual grind and create this site as a fun project where i can escape and experiment.

i actually joined neocities back in april, but it’s only recently that i’ve finally gotten around to building this space. i wanted a place where i could express myself, share my interests, rant a little (okay, maybe a lot), and just be the bubbly me that sometimes doesn’t come across irl. my friends say i’m serious in person, which is honestly hilarious because i’m anything but—goofy and full of energy is more like it!

creating this site is both exhilarating and chaotic. every time i start working on it, i get hit with new ideas, so who knows how long it’ll actually take to "finish" (does anyone ever really finish a personal site, though?). i don’t go out much, so i plan to spend a lot of time here, working on this ever-evolving project and hopefully making some new online friends along the way.

bella came into our lives last august, a sweet gift from my mom’s friend at church. her previous family had several pets already, so they couldn’t keep up with bella’s needs, and that’s how she found her way to us. bella is an aspin (filipino dog) and has a ton of energy! she loves to playfully nibble on us—not hard, though. i think it’s her unique way of showing affection.

one of the best things about Bella is how she greets me when i come home from uni. i can always hear her excited footsteps and see her jumping up by the gate, waiting for me. and then, she’ll bury her head in me, which is her signature way of saying, “welcome back!!” she’s a mix of hyper and cuddly, which makes her a joy to be around.

luna was also adopted from the church, just as i wished for—a white aspin with a calm nature. unlike bella, luna is incredibly quiet and obedient, always trailing behind me wherever i go kkkk. she has this endearing habit of leaning her whole weight against me, like she trusts me to hold her up.

luna loves to sit on my lap, and she’s even learned to give me a high five! she’s the shy one, often startled easily, which makes me love teasing her gently. her face always has a soft, almost sad look, which gives her a gentle, innocent vibe. when i get home from school, her bark is actually louder than bella’s, announcing my return in her own adorable way.
